            Jann Tackett brought the meeting to order at 7:09pm.  Present were:  Jann T., Kassie Jorgenson, Heidi Lowthorp, Joyce Gorham, Susan Hilton, Linda Reilly, Jeff Norton, & Gregg Cruickshank.

 

            It was moved by Gregg C. and 2nd by Heidi L. to accept the agenda.  Motion passed.

 

Secretary’s Report

            Gregg C. read the minutes of the last meeting.

            It was moved by Joyce and 2nd by Linda to approve the minutes.  Motion passed.

           

            Correspondence:  None

 

Bills To Be Paid

            $1,577 interest on loan—April 13, 2007.

            $117 postage for SAF, Inc. Newsletter—April, 2007.

            Motion to pay bills was passed.

 

Treasurer’s Report

            A balance of accounts was handed out by Kassie J.

            It was moved by Linda R. and 2nd by Heidi L. to approve the report.  Motion passed.

 

Old Business

1.      CAT Grant--$26,929 was approved in 5 payment.  We will get an additional $8,700 at a later date.

2.      Lights are ready to go.  Concrete pad finished.  Gregg C. will ask Boosters/Eatons to cook the food.

3.      Trees are planted.  Mrs. Sheldon & her classes worked on this project on Monday, April 23, 2007.

4.      Brick Project—Nothing to report at this time.

5.      Alumni Banquet & Newsletter—Jeff N. and Joyce G. worked on the Newsletter.  Information included:  Special class recognition, registration date of May 12, 2007, Emphasized to check out the website, eventually there will a link for each graduating class (Joyce is working on this).

6.      Building Sign—Gregg C. reported on sign costs & building identification.

7.      Concession Stands—April 30 & May 8, 2007.  It was moved by Joyce G. & 2nd by Kassie J. to buy the leftover products from the Sidney Library Board for $89.05.  Motion passed.

 

New Business

1.      Student Council Report—None.

2.      Fremont County Endowment Fund—SAF, Inc. received $2,000.  Joyce G. will receive check in May.

3.      SAF, Inc. Scholarship—Three $300 scholarships will be given on May 10, 2007 to:  Lauren Clark, Alex Schaeffer, & Jessica Hills.

 

Next meeting will be May 15, 2007 at 7:00pm at the HS.

 

Heidi L. moved to adjourn & Linda R. 2nd it.  Motion passed.  Meeting was adjourned at 9:10am.
