SPECIAL JOINT MEETING OF THE FREMONT MILLS

AND SIDNEY BOARD OF DIRECTOR                                                                                    7:30 P.M.                                                               April 23, 2008

 

CALL MEETING TO ORDER

Vic-President Randy Bishop called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m.

 

ROLL CALL

Directors present from the Sidney Board of Directors were Randy Bishop, Heidi Lowthorp, and Janet Teten.  Also present were Superintendent/ Secondary Principal Gregg Cruickshank and Board Secretary/Treasurer Joyce Morgan.   Directors Jeff Jorgenson and Mike Daly were absent.

Directors present from the Fremont-Mills board of Directors were Keith Barber, Matt Lorimor, Denise Anderson, Elizabeth Alexander, and Deana Crom.  Also present were Superintendent Chris Herrick and Board Secretary/Treasurer Susan Shepard.

 

RECOGNITION OF GUESTS

Barb Pierce, Carolyn Maher, Ellen Longman, Donna Walker and Doug Doty.

 

GOALS OF THE MEETING AND SHARING OPPORTUNITIES

The meeting focused  on student learning, achievement, and opportunity; discussion about sharing options; how those options might look (i.e. facilities, curriculum and co-curricular programs); and how to involve our communities in the discussion. 

 

At 9:10 p.m. the Fremont Mills Board of Directors left.

 

At 10:15 p.m. the Sidney Board of Education adjourned.
