CALL MEETING TO ORDER

President Jeff Jorgenson called the meeting to order at 7:05 p.m.

ROLL CALL

Directors present were Randy Bishop, Mike Daly, Jeff Jorgenson, Heidi Lowthorp, and Janet Teten.  Also present were Superintendent/ Secondary Principal Gregg Cruickshank, Elementary Principal Carolyn Maher and Board Secretary/Treasurer Joyce Morgan. 

RECOGNITION OF GUESTS

There were several guests in attendance.

PRESENTATION BY SUPERINTENDENT GREGG CRUICKSHANK ON THE EDUCATION VIABILITY OF SIDNEY SCHOOLS

The presentation’s focus was to examine how to best utilize the human, financial and capital resources of the district to provide the best possible educational opportunities for the children who attend the Sidney Community Schools.  Information on projected enrollments and trends impacting the district and other area Fremont county schools was presented.  Open communications and public participation was conducted throughout and after the presentation.

ADJOURNMENT

R. Bishop moved to adjourn the meeting at 9:15 p.m.  H. Lowthorp seconded.  Ayes 5, Nays 0.  Motion passed.
