This application will consider you for a PELL Grant, for Low Interest Loans, and Work Study.
In order to fill out the application you must do the following:
1. Apply for a PIN # at www.pin.ed.gov
One PIN # for student. Keep this PIN # for the
entire time the student is in school.
One PIN # for a parent. Keep this PIN # for the entire time any of your children are in school.
Be sure to check your Junk Mail for the email from the government
because many times government emails go straight there.
2. Complete your taxes. (You may estimate, but you will have
to go back to fill in correct amounts)
3. Fill out the FAFSA at www.fafsa.ed.gov
Sidney Schools will host a Financial Aid Meeting in
mid to late December or early January. The Iowa Student
Loan—College Access Network will give the presentation.
