Keep Your Grades Up. Your GPA Will Help You Get Into The
Colleges, Universities, or Tech School You Want To Go To.
If you are planning on graduating early ( a semester early or an entire year early) meet with Counselor to make sure all requirements are met and you have enough credits. Must go in front of the board before the October School Board Meeting.

Sign up for the John Baylor ACT Prep Course.
Check with Counselor that you have met NCAA Clearing House
Rules if you are planning on participating in sports at the
Division I or Division II Level.

September
Attend the John Baylor ACT Prep Course.
Sign up with the Counselor to visit with college representatives when they come to school.
Attend The PSOD (Post-Secondary Opportunity Day) in Shenandoah at the Armory. This is a college fair with military reps. We will go as a class during the day, but parents and students are encouraged to attend the night before.
Letters
will go out to remind parents of this opportunity.
Attend other college fairs.
Attend the John Baylor ACT Prep Course.

Check out your colleges for Just Junior Days.
Take the PSAT/NMSQT if you signed up for it during your sophomore year.
Research colleges, universities, and tech schools. Make a list of possibilities.

December
Attend the FAFSA (Free Application For Student Aid) meeting put on by ICAN (Formally The College Planning Center) You can not fill out the FAFSA until your Senior but it is good to hear the information more than once.
