COWBOY COUNCIL

2007-2008

           The Cowboy Council is made up of members from grades 4-6. Members of this year's Cowboy Council are:  6th graders Cole Bohlen, Sloane Killion, Jessica Lowthorp, & Ben Wolfe; 5th graders Madison Bendt, Blane Moreland, Erick Rodriguez, & Tiffany Vesey; and 4th graders Gavin Driskell, Quinn Sheldon, Jacob Smith, & Sarai Waddell.

    The activities of the Cowboy Council include running the Cowboy Store and doing service projects throughout the year.  This year's Cowboy Council has started a "Caught You Being Good" program where the students and teachers reward other students who are showing positive character traits.  When students are "caught" showing the lifeskills such as respect, caring, friendship, honesty, and cooperation, they receive a "Cowboy Coin."  These coins can then be used to purchase items at the school store on Fridays.
