The learner will:

 

        . . . read for retrieval of information, comprehension, and enhancement of

                communication skills for life-long learning and enjoyment.

 

        . . . define and solve problems using reasoning and knowledge.

 

        . . . demonstrate mathematical competency in real life situations.

 

        . . . listen to expand learning and effectively interact with others.

 

        . . . communicate by speaking clearly and concisely to inform, demonstrate,

                or persuade.

 

        . . . be able to communicate with the written word effectively to express ideas

                clearly and correctly.

 

        . . . demonstrate effective study skills.

 

        . . . collect and use information from a variety of sources.

 

        . . . develop an awareness of cultures, languages, and fine arts.

 

        . . . use technology as a tool to expand learning and to be a more efficient

                problem solver.

 

        . . . demonstrate honesty, respect for self and others, and a commitment
